Anxiety Sucks! That tightness in the chest. A dizzy feeling. Stomach pains etc. Learn some tips and tricks to stop anxiety from dominating your life!

Anxiety Sucks! That tightness in the chest. A dizzy feeling. Even cramps in the stomach are all symptoms that come along with the feelings of anxiety. Of course, if you are facing a fear-provoking situation, like riding a roller coaster, you may be able to put these symptoms to one side. After all, you know it will be over soon. However, if this is the reaction that your body has to doing everyday things, it can make regular life very challenging. Happily, there are some ways that we can help to manage anxiety and stop it from having such a massive effect on our lives. Read on to find out what they are.

Acceptance

Many people with anxiety laugh when they hear about acceptance. In fact, they tend to think that if they could accept it, they would have done so already. However, what anxious people often think of as acceptance is actually suppression. That is, they do not allow their feelings of anxiety to surface long enough to feel them and let them pass. Suppression can actually reinforce your feelings of anxiety and make them worse.

Instead, real anxiety acceptance is letting that mental and social alarm go off and not doing anything to suppress it. Of course, this can be decidedly uncomfortable, to begin with. However, what most people find is that once you acknowledge your anxiety and let it flow through you, it gradually tails off. Something that makes it a lot easier to deal with.

Supplements

Another way that you can stop anxiety dominating your life is to choose to treat it with natural supplements. Happily, there are quite a few you can choose from. Such as St John’s Wort and Evening Primrose Oil, which are both believed to alleviate the anxiety of the hormonal variety.  Alternatively, you may choose to take turmeric, garlic, or kratom instead. Some people even choose to use CBD Oil, THC and cannabis as a way of calming anxious feelings.

Looking for a natural pain relief supplement that is safe and actually works?  The herb Kratom could be the answer to your prayers for pain and much more.

In fact, there are a range of methods for getting THC into your system, such as eating edibles or using devices like the ones cheech glass offers online. It’s important that you find a method that’s best suited to your needs, so you’ll be able to experience their anxiety-reducing properties. Although, do remember that different states have different laws regarding use of products and substances, and you should therefore, check them carefully before going down this route.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a treatment psychologists use to heal trauma. But you can do quickly and for free. Our post details it with a video and printable! EMDR Free Yourself From Suffering In One Minute : Heal Depression & More (EMDR)

Meditations

There is no shortage of meditations online that claim to help you to cope with anxiety. However, finding the right one for you may take a bit of trial and error. This is because a technique that may work for one person may not be so helpful to the next.  An excellent place to start can be guided meditations that allow you to place your focus on visualizing calming situations in your mind. Alternatively, you may wish to go for a body scan or Yoga Nidra style mediation where consciousness is placed deliberately in different parts of the body.
