These full size bats are the easiest Halloween decorations to create and you probably already have what you need to make them sitting right in your cupboard. A large black trash bag will make one full size bat with nothing else but a little dab of paint for the eyes. You can hang them inside or outside or make a garland out of them. Halloween Decorations Supplies
- 30 to 32 gallon black trash bags
- White paint or Wiggle Eyes
- Double Sided Tape for hanging

Instructions
Grab your basic supplies.
Pull one bag off. 
Fan it in the center with about 1″ folds. This does not need to be exact.
Tie it around in a very loose knot. 
Carefully and lightly pull your knot together. As you do you’ll notice one side has a triangle shape. You may need to adjust the bag a little to make the shape clear. Again, this has to be a loose knot. 
Fan the sides of your bag out.
Print the pattern provided, if needed. Cut it out and use it as a guide for your wing curves. It might help to tape it lightly in place before cutting. 
This is the bat after cutting. 
Add two dots of white paint for eyes. You could also use wiggle eyes!
For hanging, use double sided tape. They are very light weight!
