This natural skin glue not only closes wounds that would need stitches but it heals the skin itself so there is no scaring. And it does it quickly. We keep this kit on hand at all times along with our cayenne tincture to stop bleeding and heart attacks and strokes. Whether you are at a place that you can’t get stitches or you simply choose to do them yourself, this method is simple and painless.
The specific herbs used heal the skin in addition to allowing the wound to close, hence no scars. This information comes from my herbalist friend who also saved my son’s finger when the doctors would have removed it, by healing it of MRSA. She’s used it many times through the years including gluing someones finger tip back on.
I’ll admit I’ve held off on writing this article as I was waiting someone in the family to get a wound I could use as an example to photograph. But alas my family has been wound-less for quite some time… knock on wood. I’ll add photos if that occasion every arises. Grab our printable instruction card below to add to the kit.
DISCLAIMER: Please be wise. If its a huge gaping wound, see a doctor if you can. Though it’s able to be used for larger wounds, I suggest you use it only for smaller cuts and wounds that might need stitching.

Skin Glue Supplies
The skin glue requires very specific ingredients which can be purchased online or at various stores. Regular tape and bandages can be used but Steri Strips are best. You can find both herbs in powdered form on eBay at the links below. This is where we purchased ours.
You can also easily powder the leaf kind yourself with a mini coffee grinder, all of which can be purchased on Amazon at the links below.
- Comfrey Root Leaf
- Lobelia Leaf
- Mini Coffee Grinder (optional for powdering herbs)
- Honey
- Wheat germ oil
- Steri-strips (Also called butterfly closures. These are for larger wounds. Walgreens and other similar stores carry them.
Mixing Instructions
Make fresh for each wound. You can place the dry herbs in a jar and then add other ingredients when needed. Any left over mixture can be stored in fridge and then thinned with wheat germ oil and used up to a month later. You will be reapplying it daily for a while.
