DIY Easter Baskets Supplies
- Plastic bottle of any size. (We used 32 oz size.)
- Utility knife, scissors, dry erase marker (to mark bottle cutting lines.)
- Glue gun
- Decor items: Paint pens, permanent markers, stickers, ribbon, beads etc.
Instructions
Measure and mark where you want to cut your bottle. Using a dry erase marker works wonderfully as you can rub it off when you're done.

Cut a thin strip for the handle. You can make it any width you want.
If you're doing scallops on the edge you can mark those ahead of time and then cut.
I chose Sharpie Paint Markers for one of my baskets, making dots around the edge.
Glue your handles in place with hot glue. A clothespin is helpful to hold them in place until they dry.
For my second basket I lined the edges with ribbon and added buttons where the handle attaches to the base.
The sky is the limit on how you can decorate these. I added some appliques I had on hand and also a butterfly to one of my baskets and tied a name tag onto the other with raffia.
