Here’s a fun Halloween game (or anytime game for that matter!) Kids and adults alike will enjoy “Monster!” Just grab our free downloadable printables which includes the instructions and make a monster dice using a wood block and some wiggle eyes. It can be played with two or more or in groups and has various scoring options. Let players copy the monster example or use their creativity to create their own.

Supplies for Monster! Halloween Game

• Free printables below. One sheet per player
• Wood block for dice (one die per group)
• Paint (optional)
• Wiggle eyes 21 per single die. (Get extra small and make sure you can fit 6 on one side of the block. This will vary depending on the size of your block.)
• Glue (Some wiggle eyes are adhesive)
• Pencils

Dice Instructions

You can paint your block before adding eyes if desired.

Carefully add on your eyes to match a regular dice. Some eyes come with adhesive on them. Others will require you to add a tiny dab of glue on them.

How To Play  (instructions also in download)

NUMBER OF PLAYERS 2 or more

SUPPLIES: Set of dice. Printed game sheet. Pencils (regular or colored)

GOAL: To be the first person to complete your monster, then to be the player with the most points at the end of all nine rounds (if you choose to tally points).

RULES: Everyone must throw a 6 to begin drawing.   The first player to complete the monster shouts “Monster!” Everyone adds up their points (the number for each part). Person with most points at the end of all 9 rounds wins.

DRAWING: You can draw the example monster or draw your own as long as it has all the body parts needed. There is a blank sheet should you choose to place your own monster example on it instead of the one we have.

YOUNGER CHILD OPTION: You can let the one who drew the monster win and not tally points.

GROUP OPTION: Each group has its own game set. Play is the same as above, but the winner in each group moves to the group to the right. The person with most points at the end of all 9 rounds wins.

OTHER OPTIONS: People can draw their own style of monster if they wish as long as they use only the parts described.
