How to Turn a Working Console TV into a Piece of Art!

It made a perfect gaming TV!blank630x20Depending on your age you might remember having a console TV when you were growing up. They were big televisions with a wood case built around them and were considered a piece of the furniture. Times and TV’s have changed but you can still find these at thrift stores, which we did. This is part of our “Buff Your Stuff” series where you take old things and make them new! You might especially enjoy our makeover, Refurbishing Furniture with Modern Colors.

  1. This is so much fun! I have one of these that tragically doesn’t work but I was planning on making a shelf out of it for my step son to have his little tv on 🙂 And I also wanted to mention that the Wednesday “To Grandma’s House We Go” link party just started over at grandmashousediy.com and I thought you might be interested in joining it, thanks!
