 Supplies for Hobbit Door

  • Polymer Clay (I used Fimo)
  • Pin for making lines in clay
  • Tiny eyelet if desired.
  • Jewelry findings, if desired.
  • Drill with tiny bit.
  • String if your using the drill.
  • Mod Podge or other gloss coating.

Instructions

I’m  not the least bit artistic. (Not to be confused with creative.) What I mean is I can’t draw, paint or sculpt. My stick figures even kinda suck. So I tend to steer clear of crafts that require someone to have that ability. This is one of those crafts. My point being, if I can do this, anyone can do this.

After you’ve baked your clay you can give your Hobbit door or Gandalf a nice coating with some type of gloss. I used Mod Podge.     I’m dropping by from the French Country Cottage link party. Wow! This is such a cute idea. It would be a hit with those who are Lord of the Rings fans. And it looks so easy to make. That’s my kind of craft.
