- A foam egg (3″ is a great size)
- Silver thumbtacks 200 count. 2 boxes.
How to Make a Dragon Egg Instructions
Starting at the bottom gently push in the thumb tacks overlapping them slightly. Continue to the top. Took me about 45 minutes to do one 3″ tall egg. You could possibly spray paint these or use gold thumb tacks. Be careful inserting the pins. If you wiggle them too much it creates a large whole in the egg and they will fall out. These eggs are meant to be viewed and not handled much.
For one 3″ dragon egg it takes a little over one pack of thumbtacks 200 count. Starting at the bottom, carefully insert thumbtacks, overlapping slightly.
Display Your Egg Most Awesomely!
